Niagara Falls Man Pleads Guilty to Meth Distribution

BUFFALO, NY – In a shocking turn of events, 30-year-old Jevon Flynn, a resident of Niagara Falls, NY, has pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

According to U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross, Flynn was found in possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine, along with other illicit substances, including fentanyl and crack cocaine.

On March 26, 2024, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Niagara Falls, during which they located Flynn in a bedroom, with his hands near a clothing hamper. A backpack and a pair of pants were found in the clothing hamper. A plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine was found in the backpack, while two plastic baggies were found in the pants, one contained suspected fentanyl, the other contained blue-colored pressed pills.

Investigators also seized another quantity of suspected methamphetamine and eight grams of suspected crack cocaine. The evidence seized during the search warrant was found to be sufficient to support the charges against Flynn.

The plea is the result of an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Matthew Scarpino, and the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, under the direction of Sheriff Michael Filicetti.

Flynn is facing a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison, a maximum of life, a fine of $10,000,000. Sentencing is scheduled for December 3, 2024, before Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo.

The case highlights the ongoing struggle against the illicit drug trade in Niagara Falls and the surrounding areas. As the investigation continues, it is clear that Flynn’s actions will have severe consequences.
