Assault on a Federal Officer Rocks South Dakota Community

According to reports, Justin Janis, a 21-year-old man from Interior, South Dakota, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly assaulting a female federal officer on November 27, 2013, near Kyle.
Janis, who appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Veronica L. Duffy on March 27, 2014, has pleaded not guilty to the indictment.
