A disturbing case of methamphetamine distribution has come to an end in Lincoln, Nebraska. Katrina L. Coffman, 36, was sentenced to 180 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute 500 grams of methamphetamine mixture.
According to the investigation, Coffman was involved in the distribution of at least three kilograms of methamphetamine mixture in the Lincoln area between January 2017 and February 2021.
On February 2021, law enforcement seized at least two ounces of methamphetamine from a vehicle during a traffic stop, which was intended to be provided to Coffman.
The Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force investigated this case.
Coffman faced a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years due to a prior conviction for conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.
After serving her sentence, Coffman will be placed on supervised release for 10 years. There is no parole in the federal system.
