Dallas Faamausili, 36, Sentenced to 70 Months for Methamphetamine Possession

A Washington man has been sentenced to 70 months in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine. Dallas Faamausili, 36, of Renton, Washington, was sentenced in federal court in Lincoln, Nebraska, on May 26, 2021.

Faamausili was stopped by a Seward County Sheriff’s deputy for a traffic violation on Interstate 80 and gave consent to search his vehicle for illegal narcotics. The deputy noticed that the stow-n-go compartment in the vehicle was glued shut and eventually found several clear plastic packages containing suspected methamphetamine.

Totaling approximately 100 one-pound sized bricks, two of the pound size bricks were sent to the lab for testing. The lab determined that one brick contained 443.97 grams of methamphetamine and the other brick contained 446.57 grams of methamphetamine, with a total of at least 840 grams of actual methamphetamine.

Following the sentencing, Faamausili will be placed on supervised release for 2 years. There is no parole in the federal system. This case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Seward County Interdiction Task Force, and the Saline County Sheriff’s Office.
