Gary D. Holcomb II, a 38-year-old from Odessa, Missouri, was involved in a shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 30, 2025. Holcomb and his co-defendant used semi-automatic AR-style rifles with large capacity magazines to shoot at another individual in an alleyway before fleeing in an SUV. This incident led to Holcomb’s guilty plea on January 29, 2026, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Holcomb’s prior convictions, including a federal felony conviction for possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, contributed to his sentencing.
