BOSTON – Grimy Times has learned that Anthony Saint Jean, a 34-year-old resident of Lowell, MA, has been apprehended on federal charges stemming from the distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Saint Jean was indicted on one count of distributing child pornography and another for possessing it. The arrest took place at his residence this morning, followed by an initial appearance in Boston federal court where he remains detained. A detention hearing is set for June 26, 2025.
The indictment against Saint Jean alleges that from March 17, 2024, to August 20, 2024, he knowingly distributed online videos depicting CSAM. Additionally, it’s alleged that Saint Jean possessed material that included the abuse of minors under the age of 12.
Conviction on the distribution charge could lead to a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and up to 20 years in prison, along with at least three years of supervised release and fines reaching $250,000. The possession charge carries similar penalties. Sentencing will be determined by a federal district court judge according to U.S. Sentencing Guidelines.

The investigation was led by United States Attorney Leah B. Foley, with significant assistance from the Lowell Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Massachusetts State Police. Assistant U.S. Attorney Luke A. Goldworm, Project Safe Childhood Coordinator, is handling the prosecution.
