Kristopher Michael Brumfield, Accessing Child Pornography, Mississippi 2017

Gulfport, Mississippi – In a disturbing case of online exploitation, Kristopher Michael Brumfield, 38, of Ocean Springs, has pleaded guilty to accessing child pornography with the intent to view.

According to court documents, Brumfield knowingly accessed a foreign photo-sharing website that contained images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. His investigation by Homeland Security Investigations revealed that he not only viewed the images but also corresponded with other users via email, exchanging numerous videos of children in sexually explicit conduct.

The investigation, which began in August 2014, was led by Homeland Security Investigations and involved the identification of three user profiles containing child pornography. Brumfield’s involvement was uncovered through a painstaking examination of his online activities.

Brumfield’s guilty plea is a significant blow to those who engage in online child exploitation. His actions not only harm the children depicted in the images but also perpetuate a culture of abuse and exploitation.
