McLaughlin, SD – A shocking case of brutality has emerged as Matthew St. Pierre faces a litany of charges including First and Second Degree Murder, Assault Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury to a Child, and Child Abuse. The offenses are alleged to have occurred between October 11th and 12th, 2016.
United States Attorney Randolph J. Seiler announced the charges against St. Pierre, who has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, the defendant could face life imprisonment and a fine of up to $1 million.
The harrowing incident led to the death of a child and serious injuries to another. The indictment asserts that St. Pierre committed these heinous acts while engaged in Felony Child Abuse.
