Dominick Mackall, a 37-year-old from Lexington Park, Maryland, has been sentenced to 110 months in federal prison for his involvement in firearm and drug trafficking crimes. On October 26, 2022, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Mackall’s residence, uncovering multiple loaded firearms, including a ghost gun, and numerous rounds of ammunition in his bedroom. Mackall, a convicted felon, is prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition.
Law enforcement also discovered several controlled substances, including 964 fentanyl pills, cocaine, and marijuana, as well as $4,298 in cash and reloadable government-benefit cards in other people’s names. The search was part of a five-month narcotics trafficking investigation.
Mackall’s sentence includes four years of supervised release, and he has been ordered to forfeit all his firearms, ammunition, and $4,298 in cash. The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, a program aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence.
The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. U.S. District Judge Deborah L. Boardman handed down the sentence, which was announced by U.S. Attorney Kelly O. Hayes.
