Thomas Lee Clark Jr, a 57-year-old from Eagle Grove and Fort Dodge, Iowa, was involved in a large-scale methamphetamine trafficking operation that distributed over 2500 grams of meth in the Fort Dodge area from July 2024 to August 2025. Clark Jr and his co-conspirators sold meth to individuals cooperating with law enforcement on at least four occasions in July and August 2025. The operation was busted after law enforcement seized over 12 grams of pure meth, $4000 in cash, and other drug distribution paraphernalia from a co-conspirator’s home.
Clark Jr pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and one count of distribution and aiding and abetting another in the distribution of meth on January 27, 2026. He had a prior conviction for possession of more than five grams of methamphetamine, a serious felony drug offense, in Webster County in 2014.
On June 25, 2026, Clark Jr was sentenced to 204 months in prison and ten years of supervised release by United States District Court Judge Leonard T. Strand. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn S. Wehde and investigated by multiple agencies, including the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the Fort Dodge Police Department.
