A massive methamphetamine trafficking ring was busted in Hawaii, with ten individuals indicted for their role in the conspiracy. The ring, led by Navy Kapeli and Joshua Militante-Hanamaikai, allegedly shipped large quantities of methamphetamine to the islands. The operation, which also involved the distribution of cocaine and marijuana, was uncovered by a Homeland Security Task Force investigation. The indictments were unsealed on May 6, 2026.

The investigation revealed that the organization, sometimes referred to as H-Mob, used juveniles to store narcotics and firearms at the Puuwai Momi Housing complex. Investigators seized at least twenty pounds of methamphetamine during the investigation, as well as several firearms. The ring’s reach extended even into the Halawa Correctional Facility, where an inmate had methamphetamine delivered to a guard.

The defendants face charges including conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana. Dallas Jardine has also been charged with possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking crimes. The investigation was a joint effort by multiple agencies, including the FBI, DEA, and ATF.

The bust is a significant blow to the methamphetamine trade in Hawaii, with large quantities of the drug being taken off the streets. The case highlights the ongoing issue of drug trafficking in the state and the need for continued law enforcement efforts to combat the problem.
