Jimmie Randell Chason, a 70-year-old from Cairo, Georgia, has pleaded guilty to peddling methamphetamine in the Tallahassee area. Chason’s plea comes after an undercover operation by the North Texas High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) caught him distributing multi-ounce quantities of meth. The sting operation led to Chason’s arrest while he was en route to deliver a pound of meth.
According to court documents, Chason was identified as a key supplier of methamphetamine in the region.
