Milford Teacher Sentenced to 3+ Years for Child Porn
Boston – In a disturbing case of child exploitation, a former Milford second-grade teacher has been sentenced to 42 months in prison for possessing child pornography.
Vincent Kiejzo, 36, was handed down the sentence by U.S. District Court Judge Margaret R. Guzman, who also ordered Kiejzo to pay $43,500 in restitution to victims. Kiejzo will be required to register as a sex offender and will be prohibited from contact with children upon his release from prison.
In December 2024, Kiejzo pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography. The investigation into Kiejzo’s activities began in May 2019, when an IP address registered to him was linked to two websites known to host videos, photos, and discussions of content depicting the sexual exploitation of minor victims.
During a search of Kiejzo’s Milford home in September 2020, a USB drive plugged into a television in his bedroom was located and found to contain links to websites dedicated to child sexual exploitation. The USB drive also contained over 6,000 images of CSAM – including images that involved infants.
Kiejzo’s arrest sparked outrage in the community, where he was known as a respected educator. ‘This case highlights the scourge of child exploitation and abuse that plagues our society,’ said Acting United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy. ‘We will continue to work tirelessly to bring perpetrators like Kiejzo to justice.’
The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. The Department of Justice has launched a dedicated website for the initiative, available at https://www.justice.gov/psc.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Kristen Noto of the Worcester Office prosecuted the case, with assistance from the Milford Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations in New England. As the community struggles to come to terms with the shocking allegations, one thing is clear: child exploitation will not be tolerated.
