Neville Singleton, 38, of North Charleston, South Carolina, was sentenced on February 17, 2021, to 210 months imprisonment for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribution of 500 grams or more of methamphetamine, distribution of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and aiding and abetting, and possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine and aiding and abetting.

The investigation revealed that Singleton transported more than a kilogram of methamphetamine from South Carolina to North Carolina, with a controlled purchase of 51 grams of actual methamphetamine at a restaurant in Wilmington, North Carolina on August 29, 2019.

Sentencing took place on February 17, 2021, in Wilmington, North Carolina, where Singleton received 210 months in federal prison.

Neville Singleton had prior convictions for possession with intent to deliver cocaine and possession with intent to deliver cocaine in proximity of a school in 2003, possession with intent to deliver cocaine in 2004, possession with intent to deliver marijuana in 2007, possession with intent to deliver or distribute cocaine, LSD or other drug in 2010, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana in 2016.

Singleton was on probation at the time he committed the crimes that brought him into federal court.
