David Michael White Jr, Interstate Prostitution Operation, Louisiana 2015

New Orleans native David Michael White, Jr., a/k/a ‘Prince Loyalty,’ has been handed a 33-month prison sentence for his role in an interstate prostitution ring. The sentence, imposed by U.S. District Judge Eldon E. Fallon, also includes three years of supervised release and a $200 special assessment.

According to court documents, White operated a brothel from New Orleans, using the internet website www.backpage.com to market women for sex. In August 2015, White met a 19-year-old woman online and arranged a date. He then compelled her into commercial sex acts for his gain by advertising her services on Backpage.

This is not the first time White has been caught using Backpage to promote prostitution. He also admitted to advertising another 19-year-old woman from New Orleans in January 2013, pocketing all proceeds from their sex work.

Acting U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Homeland Security Investigations for their efforts in investigating this case. Assistant United States Attorney Julia K. Evans led the prosecution against White.

In a statement, Evans emphasized the collaboration between federal agencies in dismantling such criminal operations. ‘The sentence handed down today is a testament to our commitment to eradicating human trafficking and protecting vulnerable individuals,’ Evans said.

White’s conviction marks another victory in the fight against online sex trafficking. The FBI and other law enforcement agencies continue to crack down on websites that facilitate these illegal activities, ensuring justice for victims like those exploited by White.
