Anthony Michael Grimm, Child Pornography Possession, Oklahoma 2025

Oklahoma City’s Anthony Michael Grimm, 42, has been handed a devastating sentence of 121 months in federal prison for his despicable possession and intent to view child pornography. U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester announced the verdict, a stark testament to the justice system’s resolve to protect innocence.

In May 2024, agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) stumbled upon Grimm distributing videos depicting child sexual abuse to an unsuspecting victim in Michigan. A swift investigation led to a search warrant at Grimm’s Oklahoma City residence, where they found graphic material on his cell phone. The evidence was chilling.

Grimm faced federal charges of possession and intent to view child pornography on January 7, 2025. His plea of guilty on March 31, 2025, did nothing to soften the severity of his crime. U.S. District Judge Bernard M. Jones delivered a stern sentence on July 23, 2025, ensuring Grimm would spend over a decade behind bars and ten years under supervision.

Judge Jones emphasized the necessity of deterring such monstrous behavior and protecting the public from any potential future crimes by Grimm. This case was a result of HSI’s relentless pursuit of justice, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Tiffany Edgmon leading the prosecution.

Part of Project Safe Childhood (PSC), this initiative spearheaded by the Department of Justice, is dedicated to combating child sexual exploitation and abuse across the nation. The PSC unites federal, state, and local agencies in a united front against online predators like Grimm. For more information on PSC’s fight for children, visit www.justice.gov/psc.
