A federal grand jury in Nebraska has indicted 21 defendants, including Steven R. Harper, Scott Wellensiek, and Jose Alfredo Sandoval-Huitzil, for various crimes in Omaha. The charges include possession of child pornography, methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute, and failure to register as a sex offender. Steven R. Harper, 57, and Scott Wellensiek, 53, are both charged with possession of child pornography with a prior conviction. Jose Alfredo Sandoval-Huitzil, 27, is charged with possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. If convicted, he faces a minimum of 10 years and up to life in prison, as well as a $10,000,000 fine. Aaron Torres, 28, is also charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
