Orange Park Man Jailed for 15 Years for Child Sex Abuse Image Sales

A 33-year-old Orange Park man has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for advertising images depicting the sexual abuse and torture of children for sale using the internet.

Antony Eugene Woody, a resident of Orange Park, was also ordered to serve a six-year term of supervised release, to register as a sex offender, and to pay a fine of $995.

Woody pleaded guilty to the charges on May 14, 2021. He has been in custody since his arrest on March 22, 2019.

According to court documents, the FBI discovered in February 2019 that an online user named ‘imsoofreakyy’ was using a particular social media application to offer child sex abuse images for sale on the internet.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office received a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that the same user, ‘imsoofreakyy’, was using a particular email address to advertise images of children being sexually assaulted.

CCSO detectives were able to identify the individual as Antony Eugene Woody, who resided in Orange Park. A search warrant was executed at Woody’s residence, and he was later contacted at a local supermarket.

During an interview, Woody admitted to downloading child sex abuse images from the internet and selling them for profit. He used a social media app to advertise the images and received money from customers using the Venmo app.

Woody admitted to defrauding some customers by taking their money but refusing to send them the images they had purchased. He received at least $995 in profits from the sales.

A search of Woody’s cellphone revealed 33 videos and 40 images depicting the sexual abuse of young children. Two of the images bore advertising language created and placed on them by Woody.

This case was investigated by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the Westbrook Police Department, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Boston and Jacksonville, with assistance from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney D. Rodney Brown as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
