Marlow Levell Allen, 46, of Panama City, Florida, has pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to federal court documents. The plea was announced by John P. Heekin, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida.
U.S. Attorney Heekin commended the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and federal law enforcement partners for their role in stopping Allen’s drug distribution activities. ‘This repeat offender has been halted from flooding our streets with deadly drugs,’ Heekin stated, emphasizing the commitment to community safety.
Court records indicate that an ongoing drug investigation led to a search warrant executed at two residences linked to Allen in Panama City. The search yielded crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, two firearms, and evidence of drug distribution. Allen’s criminal history includes numerous felony offenses involving drugs and firearms.
Allen faces up to twenty years’ imprisonment for his crimes. The case was a joint investigation by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), with prosecution led by Assistant United States Attorney Eric K. Mountin. Sentencing is set for December 4, 2025.
This conviction is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative aimed at combating illegal immigration, eliminating cartels, and protecting communities from violent crime. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida encourages residents to lock their car doors to prevent burglaries that fuel criminal activities.
