Gonzalo Hernandez, 38, preyed on two minors, producing and distributing explicit videos and photos of them online. The FBI and Oakdale Police Department cracked the case.
Between August 2021 and November 2023, Hernandez created and shared sexually explicit videos of a minor, mostly on social media. He also convinced a second minor to send him a similar image, posing as a 15-year-old boy online.
Hernandez knew the minors were under 18, a fact he apparently didn’t care about. Today, he pleaded guilty to exploiting a minor, a federal offense.
He faces 15 to 30 years in prison, a mandatory minimum of 15 years, and a $250,000 fine. Hernandez is set to be sentenced on August 17, 2026.
