Marcellous Likely-McWilliams III, a 27-year-old convicted felon from Pensacola, Florida, was busted on February 4, 2026, for possessing marijuana and a firearm. He was found wearing a backpack containing a Glock 9-millimeter pistol, 69.7 grams of marijuana, and a digital scale. The arrest occurred after Likely-McWilliams III resisted and attempted to flee from law enforcement. He pleaded guilty to federal drug and gun crimes, including possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The defendant’s actions during the arrest were violent, requiring one deputy to seek medical treatment. After being placed in a patrol vehicle, Likely-McWilliams III slipped his handcuffs to the front of his body and kicked a deputy, attempting to push him away from the patrol car door.
