Philadelphia Man Charged With Illegal Reentry
Jose Guadalupe Pacheco-Ramirez, a 39-year-old man from Philadelphia, has been charged with illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.
The indictment alleges that on or about July 21, 2014, Pacheco-Ramirez, an alien, and native and citizen of Mexico, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about May 24, 2005 and August 24, 2010.
Pacheco-Ramirez, also known as ‘Jose Ramirez,’ faces a maximum possible sentence of 10 years if convicted.
The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations (‘ERO’), and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Andrea Foulkes.
An indictment is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
