Pittsburgh Man Charged with Possessing Crack Cocaine
PITTSBURGH – In a shocking turn of events, Walter Porter, a 45-year-old Allegheny County resident, has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on a charge of violating the federal narcotics laws. According to sources, Porter stands accused of possessing crack cocaine with the intent to distribute.
On April 14, 2016, Porter allegedly possessed a quantity of crack cocaine, sparking a lengthy investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Indiana Borough Police Department. The investigation culminated in Porter’s indictment, which was returned on August 30 and unsealed on September 26.
