PORTLAND, Ore. – Alistair Sidener, 20, of Portland, is facing federal charges after allegedly damaging surveillance cameras mounted on the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building on June 12, 2025. The indictment, handed down by a federal grand jury in Portland, marks the latest in a string of incidents targeting federal facilities in the city.
Sidener made his initial appearance in federal court last Friday before a U.S. Magistrate Judge and was released under certain conditions, pending future court dates. Details of those conditions were not immediately available. The feds aren’t talking, but sources say this wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment act.
