Richard Allen Rollings, 57, Pleads Guilty to Methamphetamine Trafficking

Muskogee, Oklahoma – Richard Allen Rollings, age 57, of McAlester, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to federal drug and firearms offenses.

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Rollings entered guilty pleas to two counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, one count of Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime, and two counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

The Superseding Indictment alleged that on January 5, 2023, Rollings possessed over 50 grams of methamphetamine for distribution, along with two firearms. The Superseding Indictment also alleged that on a separate occasion, on June 27, 2023, Rollings again possessed over 50 grams of methamphetamine for distribution, along with four firearms.

Prior to these instances, Rollings had already been convicted of a crime punishable by one year of prison and was prohibited from possessing firearms.

The charges arose from an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, and the Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Office.

The Honorable Jason A. Robertson, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report. Rollings was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal.
