In a recent development, Richard Skramstad, a 60-year-old man from Prescott, Wisconsin, has been sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for distributing 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. According to the investigation, Skramstad was suspected of being a methamphetamine dealer in the Menomonie, Wisconsin area. The West Central Drug Task Force began investigating him in March 2021. Officers utilized a confidential informant to purchase approximately 52 grams of pure methamphetamine from him on April 13, 2021. In an interview following his arrest on May 13, 2021, Skramstad admitted to selling methamphetamine on multiple occasions.
