84 Pounds of Methamphetamine Seized from Cleveland Man
Kansas City, Mo. – In a shocking turn of events, Russell D. Kircher, a 41-year-old man from Cleveland, Missouri, has been charged with methamphetamine trafficking after investigators seized 84 pounds of methamphetamine.
On May 5, 2026, investigators from the Missouri Western Interdiction and Narcotics Task Force (MOWIN) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Kansas City Interdiction Task Force (KCITF) arrested Kircher after delivering a parcel containing methamphetamine to his address.
The parcel, which was shipped from Los Angeles, California, contained an orange-colored FIFA HOME DEPOT bucket with approximately 22 pounds of methamphetamine. Upon further investigation, authorities discovered a large plastic tote containing 27 sealed packages of methamphetamine weighing approximately 62.88 pounds on Kircher’s property.
Kircher was found to be in possession of 2.24 grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe at the time of his arrest.
The charges against Kircher include possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica Jennings.
