A Keyser woman has been sentenced to prison for her role in distributing methamphetamine in Mineral County.
According to court documents, Samantha Jo Guinn, 33, was sentenced to 60 months of incarceration after pleading guilty to one count of ‘Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine’ in October 2019.
G guinn admitted to having more than 50 grams of ‘crystal’ methamphetamine, also known as ‘ice,’ in January 2019 in Grant County.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen D. Warner on behalf of the government.
The investigation was conducted by the Potomac Highlands Drug and Violent Crime Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, and the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
G uinn was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh.
The sentencing hearing took place in Elkins, West Virginia.
