A 41-year-old Kennebunkport man is facing 20 years behind bars for collecting disturbing child pornography. Kevin Rockwell’s stash of sickening images and videos was uncovered by the FBI during a raid on his home in November 2024.
The tablet containing the vile content was found on a nightstand in Rockwell’s residence. He initially claimed ownership and admitted to viewing the files, which included prepubescent children.
Rockwell was previously convicted of transporting child pornography and served 8 ½ years in prison for that offense. His latest sentence includes 18 months for violating his supervised release.
He’s been ordered to pay $104,000 in restitution to the victims whose images he possessed. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children received 36 million reports of child sexual abuse material in 2023, highlighting the severity of this crime.
