Jordan T. Quinones, a 30-year-old registered sex offender from Pensacola, Florida, was caught with a disturbing collection of obscene materials depicting the sexual abuse of minors. In late 2025, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement conducted routine checks on Quinones, which led to the discovery of suspicious materials and a subsequent interview. The investigation uncovered a stash of images on Quinones’ phone, specifically in his online Google Photos account, showcasing cartoon and computer-generated files of child abuse, sadomasochistic abuse, and bestiality involving minors.
The probe was a joint effort between the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Homeland Security Investigations, with Assistant United States Attorney David L. Goldberg handling the prosecution. Quinones’ case is part of the nationwide Project Safe Childhood initiative, launched by the Department of Justice in 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
U.S. Attorney John P. Heekin commended the vigilance of state law enforcement partners in monitoring Quinones, stating that keeping kids safe from sexual predators like the defendant remains a top priority for his office. Quinones was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
