Three Staten Island men tried to buy justice for $100,000. In mid-November 2025, Afrim Kupa, Mustafa Fteja, and Valmir Krasniqi offered a juror in the trial of Goran Gogic up to $100,000 to vote not guilty.
Goran Gogic was on trial for a crime in Brooklyn’s federal court.
Now Kupa, Fteja, and Krasniqi each face up to 20 years in prison for attempting to bribe a juror.
It’s a brazen attempt to undermine the justice system, and it won’t be tolerated.
“Any attempt to interfere with the integrity of our justice system will be met with swift and serious consequences,” said US Attorney Joseph Nocella.
