MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – A former correctional officer with the Oklahoma State Penitentiary (OSP) has pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges related to providing contraband to inmates.
Timothy Blayn Crocker, 25, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, pleaded guilty to conspiracy, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 371, punishable by not more than 5 years imprisonment and up to a $250,000.00 fine or both.
The indictment alleged that beginning in or about October 2015, until on or about December 7, 2015, in the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the defendant knowingly and intentionally conspired, confederated, and agreed with others both known and unknown to commit offenses against the United States; namely, possession with intent to distribute and distribution of methamphetamine and marijuana.

On or about December 7, 2015, Crocker possessed approximately one pound of marijuana, 150 grams of methamphetamine, and tobacco, which he intended to transport to OSP and provide to inmates inside the prison. He was paid approximately $1,000.00 for each shipment of contraband items he delivered to the prison.
Crocker is no longer employed at OSP. The charge arose from a joint investigation by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
The Honorable Kimberly E. West, Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, in Muskogee, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report. The defendant will remain on bond pending a sentencing hearing.
