Tiryn Green, Federal Narcotics and Firearms Charges, Pennsylvania 2022

A Monroeville man has been accused of violating federal narcotics and firearms laws in a shocking indictment.

Tiryn Green, 27, is facing federal charges for allegedly possessing fentanyl with the intent to distribute, distribution of fentanyl, and distribution of heroin and fentanyl. He also faces charges for possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon on February 24, 2022.

The indictment alleges that Green committed these crimes in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. According to the indictment, Green possessed fentanyl with the intent to distribute on February 21, 2022, and distributed heroin and fentanyl on February 23, 2022.

The law provides for a maximum total sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of $1,000,000 or both. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed would be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.

Tiryn Green is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Assistant United States Attorney Michael R. Ball is prosecuting this case on behalf of the government.

The investigation was led by the Pennsylvania Attorney’s General Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
