A 39-year-old St. Louis man was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison for his role in the prostitution of a 17-year-old minor in the city.
Tony K. Sanford appeared before United States District Court Judge John A. Ross on October 27, 2021, where he pleaded guilty to the offense of enticement of a minor to engage in prostitution.
According to court documents, Sanford directed and facilitated prostitution transactions involving the minor from January 20, 2020, to January 30, 2020.
The case was investigated by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations.
Sanford’s sentence will be followed by lifetime supervision upon his release from prison.
