Tysheen Gott, 11 Others Charged in Massive Heroin Trafficking Ring
A year-long investigation has led to the indictment of 11 individuals, including Tysheen Gott, in a massive heroin trafficking ring operating in Luzerne County, PA.
The indictment alleges that the defendants conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine base, also known as ‘crack,’ between 2013 and March 2020.
The charges were announced by United States Attorney David J. Freed, who praised the collaborative effort between federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies that led to the indictment.
The investigation, which involved multiple federal wiretaps, revealed that the defendants were involved in the distribution of large quantities of heroin, with some defendants implicated in the possession of over one kilogram of the drug.
The indictment names the following defendants:
- Tysheen Gott, a/k/a ‘LB,’ in excess of one kilogram of heroin;
- Damien Julmal Navarro, in excess of one kilogram of heroin;
- Robert Thompson, a/k/a ‘Jeffrey Parker,’ in excess of one kilogram of heroin;
- Jean Almonor, a/k/a ‘Hollywood,’ in excess of 100 grams of heroin;
- Amanda McPhillips, in excess of one kilogram of heroin;
- Anthony Quamaine Brown, a/k/a ‘BX,’ in excess of one kilogram of heroin;
- Tariek Henson Mitchell, in excess of one kilogram of heroin, who remains at large and is considered a fugitive;
- Juliette Grayson, in excess of one kilogram of heroin;
- Nicole Ann Bozek, in excess of one kilogram of heroin;
- Susan Marie Kimsel, in excess of 100 grams of heroin; and
- Aisha Maria Stephens, for maintaining drug-involved premises.
The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, a program that brings together law enforcement and the community to reduce violent crime and make neighborhoods safer.
The indictment was the result of a year-long investigation, and the case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Michelle Olshefski.
Indictments are only allegations, and all persons charged are presumed to be innocent unless and until found guilty in court.
