Defendant Sentenced to 120 Months for Heinous Crime

In a disturbing case, Verdell Yazzie, a 31-year-old man from Tes Nez Iah, Arizona, was sentenced to 120 months in prison for the sexual abuse of a minor. The victim, a 12-year-old at the time, was abused between 2011 and 2012 on the Navajo Nation Indian Reservation.
