Tyree Canty, Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, Vermont 2026

⏱ 2 min read

Tyree Canty, Lord Crayton, and Dimetrice Warner were among five men charged with conspiring to distribute cocaine and cocaine base in Franklin County, Vermont. The men allegedly sold crack cocaine to confidential informants in St. Albans and Highgate between April 7 and June 18, 2026. Canty, 47, of Philadelphia, Crayton, 35, of New York, and Warner, 37, of The Bronx, were arrested after federal search warrants were executed in the two towns.

The investigation, which involved the purchase of crack cocaine from the group, culminated in the seizure of cocaine, packaging materials, thousands of dollars in cash, and a firearm. Canty, who also faces a charge of possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, and Warner were detained pending further proceedings, while Crayton was released on conditions.

The arrests were made after a federal grand jury returned an indictment charging the five men with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and cocaine base. If convicted, the defendants face up to 20 years of imprisonment for the drug trafficking conspiracy.

The United States Attorney’s Office emphasized that an indictment contains allegations only and that the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The case is a result of a joint investigation by federal and local law enforcement agencies.
