A 32-year-old Guatemalan national, Miguel Gomez-Lopez, has been locked up for 13 years for producing and possessing child pornography in a Dorchester apartment, where cops found two missing 14-year-old girls last June.
Local law enforcement had been tipped off about a 14-year-old in danger at Gomez-Lopez’s apartment, but they found two teens instead – one leaving with Gomez-Lopez and the other, intoxicated and naked, in his bedroom.
A search of Gomez-Lopez’s phone revealed a trove of nude photos and videos of one of the minors. The second individual involved, who was charged with crimes against the other teen, has since been deported.
Gomez-Lopez was first ordered removed from the US in 2017, but he came back. He was caught again in October of that year and deported a second time.
