A 55-year-old Avonmore, PA man is going down hard for producing and possessing child porn. Kenneth Bee was slapped with a 420-month sentence, followed by a lifetime of supervised release, for creating images of a minor engaged in explicit conduct over several years.
According to court documents, Bee also had pictures of prepubescent kids in September 2022. The feds say he’s been at it for years, exploiting kids across the country.
The case was brought under the umbrella of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat child sex abuse and exploitation. The feds worked closely with local authorities to catch Bee and bring him to justice.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Maureen Sheehan-Balchon led the prosecution, with U.S. Attorney Troy Rivetti crediting the Pennsylvania State Police, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Indiana County DA’s office for their help in the case.
