⏱ 2 min read

A brazen Worcester, Massachusetts-based drug trafficking organization that flooded the streets with cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and marijuana has been dismantled. Thirteen individuals, including a 34-year-old Connecticut man alleged to be the ringleader, face up to 20 years in prison.

Jack Saez Jr. led the notorious DTO, which received kilogram quantities of cocaine from Puerto Rico via mail for distribution in central Massachusetts. Over 10 kilograms of the deadly substance was seized during the investigation.

Searches of stash houses and residences in Massachusetts and Puerto Rico turned up eight firearms and large quantities of other narcotics. The DTO’s reach spanned the US mainland and the Puerto Rican commonwealth.

The defendants, including several Puerto Rican nationals, will face the music in federal court. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts led the investigation, with assistance from the DEA, FBI, and ATF.
