Two Charleston-area dealers are going down for a long time after a federal probe turned up a major meth and fentanyl operation in the Mountain State. Michael Allen Corkhill, 31, and Steven Jamar Alexander, 39, pleaded guilty to federal charges related to their roles in the trafficking organization.
Corkhill, known to his customers as ‘Mike Mike,’ admitted to running the show, sourcing meth from co-defendant Amanda Marie Mace and selling it to customers in Charleston between June 2024 and May 2025. Investigators say he was responsible for over six pounds of meth distributed during that time.
Alexander, aka ‘Dook,’ sold fentanyl to a confidential informant on multiple occasions, with the most recent bust netting 196 grams of the deadly synthetic opioid and $8,000 in cash.
Both men are headed to the federal pen for a long time: Corkhill got 10 years, while Alexander drew 15 years and eight months. They’ll be under supervised release for five and six years, respectively.
