Andrew Walsh, Methamphetamine Distribution, Arizona 2021

A Phoenix man was sentenced to 30 months in prison for his role in distributing methamphetamine. Andrew Walsh, 43, of Phoenix, Arizona, was handed down the sentence by U.S. District Judge Diane J. Humetewa on Yesterday.

Walsh pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The charges stem from a search warrant executed by federal agents at Walsh’s residence on August 28, 2021. At the time of the search, Walsh was in possession of 496.9 grams of a mixture of methamphetamine intended for distribution.

The investigation into Walsh’s activities was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Navajo Nation Department of Public Safety.

Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Kevin Pooley handled the prosecution. The U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Arizona, is responsible for overseeing the prosecution.
