Drug Conspiracy Lands Kellyville Woman in Prison
A 55-year-old Kellyville woman has been sentenced to 46 months imprisonment and 5 years of supervised release for her role in a drug conspiracy.
BRENDA ALLEN AIRINGTON, 55, was convicted of conspiring to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance.
The charge arose from a joint investigation entitled “Home of the Brave”, coordinated by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) of the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
According to court records, the defendant and others knowingly and intentionally conspired to commit offenses against the United States from the end of 2013 until January 27, 2016.
The defendant will remain in custody pending transportation to the designated federal facility at which the nonparoleable sentence will be served.
Assistant United States Attorney Shannon Henson represented the United States in the case.
The Honorable Ronald A. White, District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, presided over the hearing.
The agencies involved in the investigation were the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, the McAlester Police Department, the Tahlequah Police Department, the Muskogee Police Department, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department, Districts 13, 18, 25 and 27 District Attorney’s Drug Task Forces and Violent Crime Task Forces, the Muskogee County District Attorney’s Office, the Seminole Nation Lighthorse Police Department, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the McAlester and Tulsa Offices of the Drug Enforcement Administration.
This case is the result of a joint investigation by the above-mentioned agencies and the OCDETF initiative.
The defendant’s name is BRENDA ALLEN AIRINGTON, and she is from Kellyville, Oklahoma.
