A 45-year-old Sharpsburg, PA resident, Drew Michael Kozlowski, has been indicted for distributing, receiving, and possessing child sexual abuse material. The alleged crimes occurred in March and June 2026. Kozlowski is accused of receiving and attempting to receive material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor on March 27, 2026, and distributing and attempting to distribute similar material on March 28, 2026.
The indictment also alleges that Kozlowski possessed material depicting prepubescent minors or minors under 12 engaging in sexually explicit conduct in June 2026. If convicted, Kozlowski faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 for each charge.
The investigation was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in 2006 to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse. Assistant United States Attorney V. Joseph Sonson prosecuted the case.
Kozlowski’s alleged crimes are part of a growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. The Department of Justice’s Project Safe Childhood aims to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit and abuse children.
