Ryan Thomas Manley, a 44-year-old from Evans, Georgia, has pleaded guilty to producing and distributing child pornography. From January to February 2025, Manley created morphed images of real minor victims with the intent to distribute them through electronic means. The guilty plea comes after a thorough investigation by federal authorities, who are committed to protecting children from sexual exploitation. Manley’s actions have left a lasting impact on the victims and their families, who will continue to suffer long after his incarceration.
The charges against Manley include six counts of Production with Intent to Distribute Child Pornography and one count of Possession of Child Pornography. He faces a statutory penalty of up to 15 years imprisonment for the production charges and up to 20 years imprisonment for the possession charge. Additional penalties include substantial fines, registration as a sex offender, and a maximum life term of supervised release upon completion of any prison term.
U.S. Attorney Margaret E. “Meg” Heap emphasized that the victims in this case are not anonymous, but real children whose suffering will continue long after Manley’s incarceration.
