A 70-year-old man in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, just got a life-altering wake-up call. William Clark was sentenced to 63 months in prison for receiving child pornography.
The crime itself went down at a recreation center in Kenton County on July 13, 2024. Clark admitted to cops that he had downloaded explicit images of minors from websites and had computer-generated depictions of kids in sexually explicit conduct. A search of his devices turned up 885 digital images and three videos featuring minors in explicit situations.
Clark’s own words condemned him: he had downloaded the material from websites he admitted visiting. The images and videos were a stash of hundreds of files that had made their way to his devices.
Following his release from prison, Clark will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for five years. This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
