A federal jury in Lexington, Kentucky, convicted a local man of orchestrating a massive fentanyl and methamphetamine operation, netting millions in profits.
Victorian Valdimar Hardaway, 36, was found guilty of conspiring to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl, 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, and a detectable amount of oxycodone.
During a three-day trial, prosecutors presented evidence showing Hardaway’s apartment was a makeshift factory for the deadly substances, complete with a hydraulic press, baggies, cutting agents, a blender, and digital scales.
The illicit operation generated substantial profits, with over $5,000 in bundled cash recovered by law enforcement during a search warrant.
Hardaway, a convicted felon, also possessed multiple firearms during the operation, including one found in his bedroom alongside a stash of drugs and paraphernalia.
A jury delivered the guilty verdict on Thursday, paving the way for Hardaway to face a mandatory minimum of 20 years in prison in August 2026.
