Methamphetamine Dealer Faces 20 Years Behind Bars

A 42-year-old Thomaston, Georgia man has pleaded guilty to distributing methamphetamine in Columbus, Georgia.

Charles Daniel Yandle, 42, admitted to selling approximately 80 grams of 99% pure methamphetamine to an undercover officer on May 30, 2017, for $1800.

The undercover sale was made as part of an ongoing investigation by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office and the Upson County Narcotics Task Force.

Yandle’s arrest and subsequent guilty plea subjects him to a maximum sentence of 20 years’ imprisonment, a fine of up to $1 million, or both.

Yandle is scheduled to be sentenced on November 27, 2018, following a pre-sentence investigation and report.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Crawford Seals.
