Kearney Man Convicted for Methamphetamine Crimes

A 33-year-old man from Kearney, Nebraska, has been convicted of serious drug crimes. Craig S. Marsh was sentenced to 180 months in prison followed by a 5-year term of supervised release.

The harsh sentence comes after law enforcement executed a search warrant at Marsh’s residence on October 29, 2020. During the search, officers found Marsh and two others in a room with suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. A lab later confirmed that the substance was approximately 381 grams of methamphetamine, of which at least 338 grams was actual methamphetamine.

The Central Nebraska Drug and Safe Streets Task Force led the investigation into Marsh’s activities. The task force worked tirelessly to gather evidence and bring Marsh to justice.

The exact charges against Marsh include possession with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine and 50 grams or more of methamphetamine mixture. These are serious crimes that carry severe penalties, and Marsh’s sentence reflects the gravity of his offenses.

As a result of his conviction, Marsh will spend the next 180 months behind bars. This sentence serves as a warning to others who would engage in similar activities.
