DAVON LOTT, 39, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, was sentenced to 60 months of imprisonment, followed by four years of supervised release, for distributing heroin.
The investigation, conducted by the FBI’s Bridgeport Safe Streets Task Force and the Bridgeport Police Department, revealed that Lott acquired and distributed a significant amount of heroin for several years.
Lott was arrested on May 10, 2019. On February 28, 2020, he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin.
The investigation also resulted in federal charges against 18 other defendants and the seizure of narcotics, items used to process and package drugs for street sale, eight firearms, and more than $360,000 in cash.
Lott, who was released on a $50,000 bond, is required to report to prison on August 23, 2021.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Karen L. Peck and Patrick J. Doherty through the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) Program.
